Todd Earl

“I was raised in southern Minnesota, and have spent the last 30+ years serving in law enforcement, after attending the University of Wisconsin – Stout and Mankato State University. I spent the majority of my career, 27 years, with the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. I retired from there as the Chief Deputy on June 2nd of this year. My roles included patrol, K-9 deputy, civil process deputy, and I spent the last 8 1/2 years as the chief deputy.

My wife, Heather, and I have three awesome kids -– two teenage boys, Brendan and Payton, and a daughter, Jordyn (nearly a teenager). My wife grew up as a child in the Hayward area and she loves it up here so we bought a home on Barber Lake near Winter. We spend as much time here as our busy schedule will allow. We love boating and fishing, camping, kayaking, traveling, and being outdoors.

I started working with the Hayward Roofing team this spring and I’ve learned a lot. It’s a different world than what I am used to but it’s also been a nice change.”
